RATESThe tour costs given are subject to amendment should the Government and/or suppliers amend taxes and /or rates prior to the commencement of the tour.
Tours must be confirmed 21 days in advance along with passenger rooming list. Failure to meet the above conditions may result in the cancellation of blocked hotel rooms by the hotels.
Upon confirmation, clients are requested to pay 25 percent of the tour cost, with the balance of the tour cost being received at least one week prior to arrival in Pakistan. This pre-payment schedule will be strictly adhered to unless otherwise agreed.
For your own protection, we recommend that you purchase adequate trip cancellation, medical, baggage, accident and other personal effects insurance. We will be pleased to assist you on your insurance.
CHANGES TO THE ITINERARY
We have made all attempts to make these programs as accurate as possible. However, in circumstances beyond our control, changes may occur. We therefore reserve the right to change itinerary, carriers and substitute hotels where necessary. We guarantee that where possible, establishments of similar category and standards will be used.
FLIGHTS SUBJECT TO WEATHER
All Northern Area flights in Pakistan are subject to weather & back load conditions and thus operate on an ad hoc basis. Should the reserved flight not operate on the day scheduled as per the itinerary, alternative surface transportation will be arranged. If any additional costs are involved due to this change, these will have to be paid for locally.
Whenever confirmed tours are canceled, we reserve the right to levy normal charges to cover administrative expenses involved, together with whatever cancellation fees that may be charged to us by any company. Tours must be canceled 21 days in advance in order for cancellation charges to be waived.

PEARL TOURS & TRAVEL’s Adventure programs are marked according to the level of difficulty. Some tours may seem to be more strenuous than marked; however, our indication levels of difficulty are based on the following criteria:Easy: Day hikes, riding on a camel or in a jeep/boat, 5-7 hours a day; ability to tolerate extreme temperatures (from 45 degrees in the deserts and main cities to minus 5 degrees centigrade in the mountains); and high altitudes (upto 4000 meters).Moderate: 5-7 hours hiking per day, sharp altitude gains, with a maximum altitude of 4750 meters attained; however, some passes or side trips or day excursions may reach 5000 meters.
Strenuous: 7-9 hours (even longer than 9 hours on particular occasions) strenuous hiking per day, sharp altitude gains, with a maximum altitude of 5200 meters attained; however, some passes, side trips, day excursions or summit climbs may reach 6000 meters. Elementary knowledge of the use of ice axe and crampons recommended.
NOTE: The above hours per day are averages; some days may be as short as 3 hours due to altitude gain or temperatures, while other days may be as long as 10 hours due to mountain passes being negotiated.
